76 Oster - The oster 76 is used by every barber alive. It is used for many different haircuts especially the haircut known as the “Caesar Haircut”. This clipper is made for attachable blades which will give the barber choices when deciding hair length. This clipper ranges from $100 and up
Wahl - The Wahl clipper is a great clipper to use when your doing a fade haircut. It
doesn’t take attachable blades but you can put on clip-on guards. The clipper itself is adjustable which allows you to take off Different shades of hair by adjusting the clipper with a lever on the side. The Wahl cost about $75
Andis Master - The Andis Master is great for shaping up Afro’s and cutting off dead ends of the hair. It is also used for fading hair and Caesar haircuts. Its very similar to the Wahl because it is also adjustable by using the lever on the side. It isn’t made for attachable blades. It ranges from $100 and up
T-liner or Outliner - T-liner’s & Outliner’s are very important to the finishing touches on the haircut. These 2 clippers are used to outline the edges of the hair to make the haircut look very sharp. You have to be very careful with this clipper because it is very sharp and you don’t have much room for error. They cost about $50 and up.

000 Blade - is used when cutting a client very close to bald
OA Blade - is used when a client doesn’t want it bald but very low
1 Blade - is used when a client a wants a light caesar
1A Blade - is used when a client wants a light caesar but not too light
1 1/2 Blade - is used when a client wants a dark caesar
2 Blade - is used when a client wants a little more than a dark caesar
3 1/2 Blade - is used when a client asked personally for this blade
*These tools should be cleaned and oiled on a regular basis.
*Blades & most tools should be sharpened occasionally to prevent from getting dull.
*Always best to have 2 of everything
*Sometimes clippers & blades get hot and the client can get burned so having a spare around is great. Its also good to have a spare around because of wear and tear and damage to the clipper or blade.
